2011-12 season highlights: Jil earned All-Maine First Team honors, All-NESCAC Second Team, and played in the NEWBA Senior All-Star Classic. She ranked first in the NESCAC in both field goal percentage (56.2 percent, 13th nationally) and blocked shots (1.81 per game). She also was third in rebounding (8.6) and fifth in scoring (first for Colby at 13.2 points per game). Jil finished her career with 887 points, 630 reboundfs, 110 assists, 108 blocks, and shot 51.5 percent from the field. 2010-11 season highlights: Vaughan was sixth in the NESCAC in field goal percentage (.507) and 17th in rebounding (5.5). She was named the Most Outstanding Player at the ECAC Holiday Festival for the second straight year. Jil averaged 9.0 points and played about 18 minutes per game. 2009-10 season highlights: Jil showed dramatic improvement from her first year to sophomore season. She was named the Most Outstanding Player at the ECAC Holiday Festival in Florida and earned all-tournament honors at the Colby Invitational. Vaughan averaged 7.3 points, 5.6 rebounds, and shot nearly 77 percent (52-for-68) from the foul line. She dished off 39 assists after having just eight her first season with the Mules. 2008-09 season highlights: Vaughan averaged about 10 minutes per game, 3.4 points, and 3.8 rebounds. At Colby: Jil had a double major in Classics and Classic Civilizations...Latin Tutor...member of Colby Volunteer Center...member of the Colby outdoor track and field team in first year at Colby...Colby Cares About Kids mentor...works at Pine Tree Basketball Camp in the summer.  Before Colby: Played basketball, softball, field hockey, and ran track at Tabor Academy...captain of basketball team...earned most improved honors in 2007.
