2011 season highlights: John, who was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, finished 12th in the shot put at the ECAC meet. He was fourth in the shot put at the NESCAC Championships and added a 12th in the hammer throw. Gilboy also had a fourth in the shot put and a sixth in the hammer throw in the Maine State meet. At the Colby Invitational, John was third in the shot put, fourth in the hammer throw, and fifth in the discus.
