2012 season highlights: Kate, a captain, finished fourth on Colby in scoring with two goals and two assists from her midfield spot. She had her goals in conference wins against Connecticut College (2-1) and Wesleyan (2-0). Her assists also came in league games. Laxson was named to the NESCAC Fall All-Sportsmanship Team. 2011 season highlights: Laxson led the Mules in assists (3) and was tied for third in scoring (1 goal, 5 points). She started all 13 games in which she played. 2010 season highlights: Kate had five starts in the midfield. 2009 season highlights: Laxson scored her first collegiate goal in a win over Maine Maritime Academy. At Colby: Kate is pursuing a major in Women's Gender & Sexuality Studies, with a minor in Administrative Science...works at the Miller Library reference desk...interned at Coach Up in summer 2012...interned at MN Medical Foundation summer 2011. Before Colby: Played soccer and ran track at The Blake School... earned all-conference her sophomore, junior, and senior years...named captain and MVP her senior year...earned all-state honor her senior year.
