2012-13 season highlights: Kate again played the first position and earned All-NESCAC honors for a fourth straight year. She had a 64-32 record in her career and was on the All-NESCAC first team three times. Pistel also earned the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship honor for a third straight year. 2011-12 season highlights: Kate once again played the tough first position and earned All-NESCAC First Team honors for leading the Mules with a 22-7 record. Pistel, who earned the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship honor, has a 51-25 record in three years. 2010-11 season highlights: Pistel earned All-NESCAC First Team honors in squash and also was the team's choice for the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship Award. She moved up to the tough first position and had an 11-11 record. Kate has 29 victories in two years playing the first and second spots.2009-10 season highlights: Kate had a fine first season, finishing 18-7 while playing at the second position. She had the second-best winning percentage on the team and earned All-NESCAC second team honors.At Colby: Pistel majors in Human Development...also plays lacrosse and soccer at Colby...member of Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC)...named a second team All-American in women's lacrosse her sophomore and junior seasons and was on the womenslacrosse.com national all-rookie team for lacrosse in her first year...IWLCA All-Region selection for lacrosse all three years...Amherst College summer programs office assistant. Before Colby: Kate played soccer, squash, and lacrosse at Suffield Academy...Math Award...Honorable Mention All-American in Lacrosse 2008...all-state soccer in 2007 and 2008...New England Class B champion in 2008.
