2012 season highlights: Katie, a co-captain, started all 32 games and had her best season with a .346 batting average. She was second in hitting, second in runs scored (20), tied for second in doubles (8), tied for second in RBI (14), and was second in slugging percentage (.442). Graichen led the Mules in stolen bases (9-for-10) and had a fine .975 fielding percentage at second base. She was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team. Katie finished her career with 86 hits, 50 runs, and was 17-for-18 in stolen bases. 2011 season highlights: Graichen was Colby's most improved offensive player after finishing second on the team in batting average (.326) while starting all 29 games at shortstop. She led the team in runs scored (21), stole four bases in four attempts, and had a .370 on-base percentage. 2010 season highlights: Katie batted .256, scored nine runs, drove in seven, and stole four bases in four attempts.
