2010-11 season highlights: Katie played at first singles spot for the third straight year and also won five matches at first doubles. Muto earned the NESCAC All-Sportsmanship honor. 2009-10 season highlights: Katie played at first singles for the second straight year and won five matches. She also won a pair of matches at second doubles and earned an ITA Scholar-Athlete award. 2008-09 season highlights: Muto, as only a sophomore, played the tough first singles and first doubles spots for the Mules. Competed in singles play at the ITA tourney. 2007-08 season highlights: Muto played at second singles and saw action at second doubles. At Colby: Katie had a double major in Biology and English...Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC)...Campus Conversations On Race (CCOR)...Volunteer for Hardy Girls Healthy Women and works as a research assistant in the summer. Before Colby: Played tennis at The Rivers School... earned NEPSAC All-League honors...received The Rivers School Classics Award...won the Tozzor Tennis Award and Coach's Award.
