2012 season highlights: Kirsten earned IWLCA third team All-American honors in her second season after moving from the midfield to defense. She also was named to the IWLCA All-Region First Team and the NESCAC Second Team. Karis, who was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, led the Mules in ground balls (38) and caused turnovers (28). Kirsten also had 10 draw controls and dished one assist.  2011 season highlights: Karis had a fine first year with the Mules, finishing with nine goals and one assist for 10 points. She also had seven groundballs, seven draw controls, and five caused turnovers. At Colby: Kirsten has a double major in International Studies and Spanish...she is a member of the Student Athletic Advisory Committee (SAAC). Before Colby: Was an All-ISL player in lacrosse at Noble & Greenough School...earned Academic All-American honors her senior year...captain of the lacrosse team...worked and coached for the Revolution Lacrosse Club.
