2011 season highlights: Layne, who was on the NESCAC Spring All-Academic Team, finished 13th in the 1,500 meters at the conference meet. She was third in the 1,500 meters at the Colby Invitational and was part of the winning 3,200 relay squad. Schwab added a fifth in the 800 meters at the Bates Quad meet and was seventh in the 1,500 at the Point Loma meet.
