2010-11 season highlights: Ferguson, who was on the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team, took 11th place in the 1,650 freestyle and 16th in the 500 freestyle at the conference meet after studying abroad in the first semester. She also had win against Bowdoin in the 1,650 freestyle, had second in a quad meet against Wesleyan, Trinity, and Bowdoin, won the 500 freestyle in a dual versus Bates, and took the 1,000 freestyle against Middlebury. 2009-10 season highlights: Mandy earned All-NESCAC honors while taking second in the 1,000 freestyle (10:25.35) in a school record clocking at the league meet. She also took fourth in both the 500 freestyle (5:05.71) and the 1,650 freestyle (17:34.55) at the conference meet. She also holds a school record in the 800 freestyle relay and earned all-conference honors in helping the 400 medley relay team finish third in 4:00.26. 2008-09 season highlights: Ferguson earned all-conference honors in the 1,650 freestyle (17:32.17) in taking third place. She also was seventh in the 500 freestyle (5:03.99) and 10th in the 200 freestyle (1:54.32). Ferguson earned the team's Rookie Award. At Colby: Mandy is pursuing a major in Sociology with minors in Education and Human Development...works as a lifeguard, swim instructor, and camp counselor during the summer. Before Colby: Swam and played water polo at New Trier...named all-conference for both swimming and water polo.
