2011-12 season highlights: Mike was a semifinalist for the Concannon Award after leading the Mules in scoring with 12 goals and 12 assists for 24 points. He was tied for third in the NESCAC in game-winning goals (3), was eighth in goal scoring, and tied for 14th in points. Doherty, who was on the NESCAC Winter All-Academic Team, finished his career with 38 goals and 56 assists for 94 points in 96 games. 2010-11 season highlights: Doherty, who earned All-NESCAC Second Team honors, was eighth in the conference in scoring (8 goals, 20 assists, 28 points), fifth in assists, and tied for second in shorthanded points (2). The 28 points led the Mules and he also had one game-winning goal. Mike has 26 goals and 44 assists for 70 career points heading into his senior year. 2009-10 season highlights: Mike was second on the team in scoring with eight goals and 17 assists for 25 points. He finished with a pair of power play goals and one game-winning goal. Doherty was tied for 11th in the NESCAC in scoring and was fifth in the league in assists. 2008-09 season highlights: Doherty led Colby in scoring with 10 goals and seven assists in his first season. He had a team-best five power play goals and had two game-winning goals.
