2011 season highlights: Nikki was first on the team in scoring with four goals and one assist for nine points. Her goal gave the Mules a 1-0 season-opening win against Connecticut College and she had two game-winning scores during the year to tie for eighth in the NESCAC in that category. She led or was tied for the team lead in scoring in three of her four years. Pickering, who was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team, had 11 career goals. 2010 season highlights: Pickering played in all 14 games and had 13 starts. 2009 season highlights: Nikki tied for the team lead in scoring with three goals. She had a team-best two game-winning goals. Pickering scored one of the more memorable goals in program history in Colby's 1-0 win at Bowdoin. The Mules had never beaten Bowdoin in 38 games. 2008 season highlights: Pickering led the Mules in scoring with four goals and one assist for nine points in her first year. Her assist came on an overtime goal in a 1-0 win over University of New England. At Colby: Nikki majored in Psychology and had a minor in Art...worked in the Colby library and in the Photography lab during the year...CCOR...spent the summer of 2010 as a counselor in the Tabor Academy Summer Program. Before Colby: Played soccer and ran track at Keene High School...New Hampshire All-Star in soccer...won Keene's Scholar-Athlete Award...member of National Honor Society...all-state art team...father (Tom Pickering) ran cross country and track at Colby.
