2011 season highlights: Sylvia, who was on the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team, took 31st at the Maine State meet, 41st at the ECAC event, 79th at the NESCAC meet, and 192nd at the Open New England race. She also was 12th in the junior/senior race against Bates and was 26th at the Bowdoin invite. 2010 season highlights: Doyle was 43rd at the Maine State meet and made the NESCAC Fall All-Academic Team. 2009 season highlights: Sylvia placed 44th at the Maine State meet. 2008 season highlights: Doyle was 62nd in the Maine State meet and was 147th at the ECAC event in her first year. At Colby: Sylvia majors in Environmental Studies with a concentration in Science and minors in Religious Studies...works as a sailing instructor during the summer...member of the Colby Democrats, Adults Reading to Children, Paw Pals, and Pottery Club. Before Colby: Ran cross country, indoor and outdoor track, and skied (alpine) at Canton High School...named team MVP for cross country and was honored with the sportsmanship award during her sophomore and senior seasons...National Honor Society...National Merit Scholar.
