Volleyball drops NESCAC match to Camels

NEW LONDON, Conn. --- After a big five-set win at Wesleyan University on Friday night, the Colby College volleyball team fell 3-0 to Connecticut College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday.
The Camels, who are ranked third in New England, improve their record to 16-2 and 7-2 in league action with the 25-11, 25-14, 25-22 win. The Mules fall to 9-8 and have a 2-6 mark in conference play.
The visiting Mules were led by Natalie Roy (Los Altos, Calif.), who tallied a match-high 27 digs to go with six kills. Emily Varni (Manhattan Beach, Calif.) chipped in with 20 digs for the visitors. Kim Donaldson (Colorado Springs, Colo.) added three kills and was credited with eight blocks for Colby.
Caroline Martin (Palo Alto, Calif.) buried eight kills to go with two digs for the Camels.
