Dewdney strong sixth again at NESCAC meet

BRUNSWICK, Maine --- Colby College's Berol Dewdney finished in sixth place for the second straight year at the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Cross Country Championships on Saturday at Bowdoin College.
 
Dewdney had a time of 21 minutes, 57.64 seconds to help the Mules finish eighth with a total score of 186. Dewdney was sixth at the league meet at Amherst College last year.
 
Eva Lauer took 39th place for the Mules with a 22:45.72 clocking, Kate Connolly was 45th in 22:59.74, and first-year Alanna McDonough took 56th out of 125 finishers in 23:13.72. Anna Doyle was 70th place for the Mules in 23:43.21 and Laura Nolan took 78th in 23:53.37.
