Dewdney earns all-conference honor for second time

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Berol Dewdney (Chester, Vt.) became just the second Colby College women's cross country runner since 2000 to earn all-league honors twice after being named to the 2012 New England Small College Athletic Conference First Team on Tuesday.
Dewdney made the All-NESCAC First Team for the second year in a row after finishing in sixth place for a second consecutive year at the league championship meet. The senior co-captain joins Karen Prisby, a 2007 Colby graduate, as the only two runners to earn all-conference honors twice and earn first team honors twice since 2000.
Colby will compete in the ECAC Championships at Williams College on Saturday, but Dewdney will sit the meet out to prepare for the New England Division III Championships at Westfield State on Saturday, Nov. 10. Dewdney has earned All-New England honors the past two years.
