Dewdney 11th at regional meet for Mules

WESTFIELD, Mass. --- Berol Dewdney earned All-New England honors for a third straight year after finishing in 11th place at the New England Division III Championships (NCAA Qualifier) at Westfield State on Saturday.

Dewdney had a time of 22 minutes, 01.96 seconds over the 6-kilometer course. She helped the Mules, who were running without second-leading runner Eva Lauer, to 12th place in a field of 51 scoring teams.

Kate Connolly was 65th for the Mules in 23:01.26, Alanna McDonough took 92nd in the field of 367 finishers in 23:29.65, and Laurel Whitney was 96th in 23:34.26.
