UPPER MONTCLAIR, N.J. --- Despite three Colby College players in double figures, William Paterson University still managed a 79-66 victory over the Mules on the second day of the Montclair State/William Paterson Classic on Sunday at Montclair State.  

Montclair State tops Colby in New Jersey (11/25/2006)
WAYNE, N.J. --- Despite 17 points from senior guard Tracy Nale (Waterville, Maine), the Colby College women's basketball team fell 57-39 to Montclair State on the first day of the Montclair State/William Paterson Classic at WPU on Saturday.

Nicholson, Bartley on MWBCA honor roll (11/22/2006)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Junior guard Kathleen Nicholson (Tuftonboro, N.H.) and first-year forward Bethany Bartley (Greenville, Maine) were honored this week by the Maine Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (MWBCA) with spots on the weekly honor roll.

Brandi Rideout, a 2006 graduate of University of Maine at Farmington, has joined the women’s basketball staff at Colby College as an assistant coach.

BABSON PARK, Mass. --- Despite an all-tournament team weekend for Kathleen Nicholson, the Colby College women's basketball team fell 76-60 to Geneseo State in the consolation game of the Babson College/Irving Oil Invitational on Sunday.

BABSON PARK, Mass. --- The Colby College women's basketball team had a big rebounding edge and a nice night from Lauren Duval, but Babson College managed to take a 61-54 victory in the first day of the Babson College/Irving Oil Invitational on Saturday.    

Women's basketball team names captains (11/17/2006)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Seniors Molly Rice (South Portland, Maine), Tracy Nale (Waterville, Maine) and junior Tanya Rosbash (Newton, Mass.) have been named tri-captains of the 2006-07 Colby women’s basketball team, as announced by head coach Lori Gear McBride.

Women's basketball ready for opener (11/15/2006)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby women’s basketball team will open its 2006-07 schedule by participating in the four-team Irving Oil Invitational, hosted this weekend by Babson College. The Mules will face Babson on Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in Waltham.

Three to be inducted into NE Basketball Hall of Fame (10/04/2006)
KINGSTON, R.I. --- Colby College will be well represented when former women's basketball player Kaye Cross and men's basketball players Paul Harvey and Harland Storey are inducted into the New England Basketball Hall of Fame this Friday at 7 p.m. at the University of Rhode Island's Ryan Center.

Colby has best finish ever in Director's Cup (07/19/2006)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College had its best finish ever by placing 31st in the country among NCAA Division III athletics programs in the 2005-06 U.S. Sports Academy Director's Cup.
