Women's hockey earns 5-5 tie (12/04/2009)

CLINTON, N.Y. --- Liz Osgood had a hat trick and Marissa Simmons had the other two goals for the Colby College women's hockey team in a 5-5 tie at Hamilton College on Friday night.

Women's hockey falls to Middlebury (11/29/2009)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Anna McNally (St. Paul, Minn.) played a part in all five goals as the third-ranked Middlebury College women's hockey team took a 5-0 win over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Sunday.

Women's hockey drops league game (11/28/2009)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's hockey team had a 27-23 advantage in shots, but Williams College goaltender Sara Plunkett (Barrington, R.I.) posted her third straight shutout to start the season as the Ephs earned a 4-0 victory over Colby College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Saturday night at Alfond Rink.

Women's hockey settles for 2-2 tie (11/24/2009)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- After Colby College's Ally Kane (Montpelier, Vt..) gave her team a 2-1 lead in the third period on her first collegiate goal, University of Southern Maine's Kylie Blasen (Okemos, Mich.) tallied with just 21 seconds remaining in regulation as the teams battled to a 2-2 overtime tie on Tuesday at Alfond Rink.

NESCAC hockey honor for Simmons (11/23/2009)
WATERVILLE, Maine --- Colby College sophomore forward Marissa Simmons (Milton Academy/Chestnut Hill, Mass.) got a little help from her forward line friends on both goals to help the Mules open the season with a victory, and Monday she was honored as the New England Small College Athletic Conference Women's Hockey Co-Player of the Week.

WATERVILLE, Maine --- Marissa Simmons (Chestnut Hill, Mass.) did the job offensively with a pair of goals and first-year goalie Filomania Falcucci (Braintree, Mass.) won her first collegiate start as the Colby College women's hockey team opened the season with a 2-1 victory over New England College at Alfond Rink on Saturday.
