Women's Soccer—Program Overview

Established in 1979, the women’s soccer team competes in the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC), one of the most competitive leagues in NCAA Division III. Program highlights include back-to-back appearances in the NCAA tournament in the 1998 and 1999 seasons, including an appearance in the national “Sweet 16” field in 1998. The squad has traveled abroad three times in the last 15 years. In 1997 the team toured Sweden while playing in the Second Division Premier Leagues, and in the summer of 2001 started its campaign with a 10-day tour of Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, and England. In 2005 the team returned to Sweden, playing against four teams, including the Hammarby reserve team.
