Sakhi Khan, who has more than 34 years of squash experience, is entering his ninth season as head coach of the Colby men’s and women’s squash programs.

Khan won the Chaffee Award for the 2006-07 season for the coach of the year in sportsmanship.

Khan, a 1985 graduate of Tufts, was a four-time All-American varsity squash player. He reached the National Collegiate Squash Championships finals and won the Massachusetts State Championship three times.

Khan also competed on the World Professional Tour for seven years. As a professional, Khan twice won the World Teaching Professional Championships.

Assistant Coaches

Doanh Wang, the head coach of men's and women's tennis at Colby, will start his third year as an assistant squash coach.

Wang was an assistant coach for women's tennis at the University of Wisconsin before coming to Colby. The Binghamton, N.Y., native was the head women's tennis coach at Edgewood College for three years. Edgewood and University of Wisconsin are both located in Madison.

Wang earned a bachelor's degree from Binghamton in 1995 and added a master's degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1999.
