WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College swimming and diving teams each had impressive performances at the New England Small College Athletic
Conference meet a year ago and will look for more success as the 2009-10 season begins Saturday with a home meet at 2 p.m. against Amherst College.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Colby College’s Kelsey Potdevin (Juneau, Alaska) placed 25th in the 200-yard backstroke at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships on Saturday at the University of Minnesota.

Potdevin an All-American in 100 backstroke | March 20, 2009
MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Colby College senior Kelsey Potdevin (Juneau, Alaska) broke her own school record in a preliminary race earlier in the day and then earned All-America honors by placing eighth in the championship final in the 100-yard backstroke at the NCAA Division III Swimming and Diving Championships at University of Minnesota on Friday night.

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. --- Colby College’s Kelsey Potdevin (Minneapolis, Minn.) got ready for Friday’s 100-yard backstroke by placing 35th in the 50 freestyle at the NCAA Division III Women’s Swimming and Diving Championships on Wednesday at the University of Minnesota.
