Women's squash falls in consolation final

NEW HAVEN, Conn. --- The 22nd-ranked Colby College women's squash team ended the season Sunday with a tough 5-4 loss to 20th-ranked Mount Holyoke College in the consolation final of the Walker Cup (C Division) at Yale University.

 
The Mules, who finished the season at 11-13, won the final four position matches. The Walker Cup is for teams ranked 17 to 24 in the country.
 
Mikaela Johnson, Liz Brehman, Amanda Corwin, and Lily Greenberg took wins for the Mules. 
 
Senior first position player Kate Pistel, a three-time All-NESCAC selection, lost a tough 3-2 match (9-11, 6-11, 11-6, 13-11, 11-8) to close out the season at 15-9 overall and 66-34 in her career.

Molly Parsons also played in her final match at the second position and ended up with a 58-42 career mark.
