Women's squash finishes season ranked 21st

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --- The Colby College women's squash team ends the season ranked 21st in the country after taking an 8-1 win over Tufts University to win the consolation round final of the College Squash Association Walker Cup (teams ranked 17 to 24) on Sunday at Harvard University.
 
Sophomore third position player Lindsey McKenna became the second Colby player to reach 20 wins for the season. She went 3-0 in national tourney play in improving to 20-9.
 
Kate Pistel finished the season with a team-best 22-7 record at the first position after an easy 3-0 win Sunday. Molly Parsons had to go five games to win at the second spot in moving her season record to 17-12.
 
Maddie Hunsicker won the first two games at the fifth position, lost the next two, and then won 11-7 in the fifth game. Liz Brehman fell 13-11 in the opening game and then gave up just 11 points in the next three games to win 3-1 at six. Coco Cowan, Lily Greenberg, and Emma Beck all won 3-0 matches for the Mules.
