HARTFORD, Conn. --- The ninth-seeded Colby College women's squash team won the first three positions and Liz Brehman won at six, but eighth-seeded Wesleyan University took a third 5-4 win over the Mules this year on Friday in the first round of the NESCAC Championships.

Kate Pistel stormed back with three straight game wins after dropping the opening game at the first position. Meanwhile, Molly Parsons had one of the comebacks of the day at the tourney. She dropped the opening two games only to win the next three in 12-10, 11-8, 12-10 at the second spot.

Lindsey McKenna had it much easier with an 11-2, 11-6, 11-5 win at the third position for the Mules. Brehman also had a tight five-game match --- winning the third game by a 15-13 score, falling 12-14 in game four, and then taking an 11-8 win in the finale.

Colby will play Tufts University on Saturday as the tourney continues.
