Love, doubles team win for women's tennis

HARTFORD, Conn. --- Mckenzie Love (Wenham, Mass.) won her match at sixth singles and the Colby College women's tennis team also had a win from first doubles in a 7-2 setback to Trinity College in New England Small College Athletic Conference play Sunday.
Love took a 6-2, 6-3 win for the lone singles win. The Mules (8-5 overall, 0-2 NESCAC) did have a number of close matches, losing two in three sets and another in a pro-set to decide the match.
Kathryn Vergeyle (Orono, Minn.) and Sarah Wiener (Mequon, Wis.) joined forces for an 8-6 win at first doubles.
Colby will play host to Wesleyan University in the Mules' spring home opener Saturday at 10 a.m.
