WATERVILLE, Maine --- Holly Bogo (East Grand Rapids, Mich.) won her 11th singles match of the season without allowing a game to lead the Colby College women's tennis team to a 9-0 romp of Oneonta State on Saturday.
The Mules move to 10-4 overall heading into a 1 p.m. home match with Middlebury College on Sunday.
Tess Perese (Minneapolis, Minn.) won 6-0, 6-3 at first singles and teamed with Sarah Wiener (Mequon, Wis.) for an 8-1 victory at first doubles. Wiener was a winner at second singles to improve to 8-2, while Sally Holmes took the third singles win. Bogo improved to 11-2 after winning at the fourth spot, Erica Talamo (Newton, Mass.) won at five, and Alex McAuliff (Waterville, Maine) took the sixth singles victory.
Mckenzie Love and Victoria Abel won at second doubles, while Holmes and Talamo took an 8-1 victory at three.
