Love into second round at regional tennis tourney

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. --- Mckenzie Love advanced to the second round of the 2012 United States Tennis Association (USTA)/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) New England Regional Championships at MIT on Friday.
 
Colby teammate Sarah Wiener lost in her first round match.
 
Love took a 6-3, 7-6 (3) win against Connecticut College's Maria Pia Sifuentes. Love will take on ninth-seeded Caroline Richman of Amherst College in her next match.
 
Rebecca Curran of Williams College took a 6-0, 6-0 win against Wiener.
