Women's tennis beats Hamilton in league match

WATERVILLE, Maine --- The Colby College women's tennis team improved to 9-3 overall and 1-1 in NESCAC play after taking an easy 8-1 win over Hamilton College on Saturday.

Tess Perese won at the first singles spot, including a 7-6 (0) win in the first set, and joined up with Victoria Abel for a victory at first doubles. Abel won at second singles in a 10-8 super tie-breaker to decide the match.

Mckenzie Love won at third singles, Sally Holmes was a winner at four, and Holly Bogo took the fifth singles match. Holmes and Love combined for a victory at second doubles, while Bogo and Erica Talamo were 8-2 winners at three.
