Reardon second in 55 hurdles for women's track

GORHAM, Maine --- Colby College's Brittany Reardon was the only competitor for the women's indoor track and field team, taking first place in the pole vault and second place in the 55-meter hurdles in a non-scoring meet at University of Southern Maine.

Reardon had a jump of 11-0.5 in taking the pole vault competition. She had a time of 8.62 in the 55 hurdle final after clocking an 8.70 in the prelim race. Wheaton College's Ashante Little won the event in 8.33.

Reardon has been active heading into next Saturday's Bowdoin Invitational. She also competed Dec. 8 and won the 60 hurdles in a meet at Bowdoin.
