Reardon fourth in 60 hurdles for women's track

NEW YORK, N.Y. --- Colby College's Brittany Reardon (Scituate, Mass.) took fourth place in the 60-meter hurdles, while teammates Brittney Bell (Poland, Maine) and Frances Onyilagha (Little Rock, Ark.) both had sixth-place finishes at the ECAC Women's Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at The Armory.
The three women and Annabelle Hicks (Coventry, Conn.) won the 800 relay in a school record time on Friday and all four were back in action on the second day of the meet.
Reardon had a time of 9.10 in the championship final after posting an 8.99 in the prelims on Friday.
Bell ran the 400 meters in 58.69 to take sixth place, while Onyilagha finished the 200 dash in 25.92.
Hicks had the second-best time in the 60 dash in prelims (7.79), but had a false start in Saturday's championship final to be disqualified.
Morgan Lingar (Danville, N.H.) finished in 16th place in the 1,000 meters with a 3:21.41 for Colby, which finished 14th out of 57 scoring teams with 21 points.
Bell, Sophie Weaver (Wellsboro, Pa.), Robyn St. Laurent (Newmarket, N.H.), and Kate Connolly (Needham, Mass.) took 18th place in the 3,200 relay (9:53.15).
