JACKSONVILLE, Fla. --- Abbott Matthews, Brittney Bell, Frances Onyilagha, Laurel Whitney, Emily Doyle, and Emily Arsenault all had top 10 finishes for the Colby College women's outdoor track and field team at the North Florida Invitational on Saturday.
Colby's 400 relay team of Bell, Reardon, Emily Tolman, and Onyilagha also were in the top 10 by placing ninth in 48.95.
Arsenault finished ninth overall and won the section two race in the 5,000 meters (19:08.22). Whitney had a seventh in the 3,000 steeplechase in 12:35.23, Matthews was eighth in the hammer throw (156-02), Onyilagha took ninth in the 200 meters, Bell finished ninth in the 400 meters (57.93), and Doyle was 10th in the 400 (58.13).
Reardon took 12th place in the pole vault (10-2) and 13th in the 100 hurdles (14.98) in a field of 36. Morgan Lingar was 11th in the 1,500 meters (4:53.64) and 20th in the 800 meters (2:24.19), while teammate Laura Duff was 11th in the 800 (2:21.20). Kate MacNamee also was 11th in the hammer throw (141-05).
Tolman added a 17th in the 400 meters (59.15) and an 18th in the long jump (16-00.25). Morgan Gallagher was 18th in the triple jump (33-5.25).
