FITCHBURG, Mass. --- The Colby College women's outdoor track and field team finished second out of 15 teams and Brittany Reardon won two events at Fitchburg State's Jim Sheehan Memorial Invitational on Saturday.

Bates won the meet with a score of 265.5 and the Mules were next with 180 points.
Reardon had 21 points in individual events by winning the 100 hurdles (16.42), the pole vault (11-8), and taking eighth in the 200 meters (28.51).
The Mules also received victories from Morgan Lingar in the 800 meters (2:23.82), Maeve McGovern with a 40:16.08 in the 10,000 meters, and Alanna McDonough in the 400 hurdles (1:0749).
Runner-up finishes for Colby included: Emily Tolman in the 800 meters (2:24.84), Brittney Bell in the 400 hurdles (1:09.12), Misha Strage in the triple jump (32-8.5), and Abbott Matthews in the hammer throw (147-7).
Ginny Keesler took third in the 800 meters (2:26.76) behind teammates Lingar and Tolman. Thirds also went to Lydia Vieraitis in the 10,000 meters (42:09.49), Cassandra Biette with a 4-7.75 in the high jump, and Katherine MacNamee in the hammer throw (145-2).
Fourths went to Bell in the 100 meters (13.42), Kate Connolly in the 1,500 meters (4:55.15), Elena Schreiner in the 100 hurdles (18.26), and Leigh Fryxell with a toss of 108-10 in the javelin.
