Ideal Camp Road
12 foot width
6 inch crown
Roads, especially camp roads,  if not carefully planned and maintained can be a significant source of unwanted run-off into the lake.
The ideal road is no longer or wider than is necessary for its uses.
The longer and wider a road is, the more likely it is for significant erosion to occur.
Physical Characteristics of every road:
-ratio of 1in. of crown for every 2ft. of      road width
-ditching ~2ft. deep with ample vegetation and gravel bottom to slow down water flow during times of heavy run-off.
