•Residents should practice good buffer management techniques
The conversion of homes from seasonal  to year round use is becoming increasingly popular.  This can impact water quality as it increases the activity and septic use in close proximity to the shore.

The presence of LGRP around LG actually helps to limit the number of shoreline lots available for residential units on this lake. And at the present time provide a good buffer to the lake.

However, the majority of shoreline lots on OP have already been developed, and thus it is important for residents to practice good buffer management techniques
