the normal high water mark of a lake
Shoreland Zoning Ordinances are a set of regulations that apply to buildings and land uses proposed within the shoreland zone.
They were established to encourage responsible development, protect water quality, limit erosion, and conserve wildlife and vegetation.
The shoreland zone includes all the land within 250 feet of the normal high watermark of any pond over ten acres.
