We used the same slope map
as in the Septic Suitability model.For the soil map, soils were rated for their erodibility based on a K
value which is assigned to each soil and represents its suseptability to breaking
apart in water.Based on the K
value, we assigned each soil a value between 1 and 9 to represent erodibility
on our scale.
