Historic Population trends in China, Vassalboro and Windsor follow the general trends of many rural Maine towns.  In the early 1800Ős the population in all three towns steadily increased as you can see here.  In the mid 1800Ős populations declined as people left to settle land in the West.  Since the 1930Ős the populations have steadily increased.
