The general trends in the watershed show a historical decline in agriculture and an increase in residential development.  We expect this trend to continue in the future as well.

We anticipate that Shoreline Property will continue to be in high demand
And there will continue to be a Movement from urban areas to rural Maine
continue to see increase in # of Summer camps and retirement homes in the watershed
There are currently 16 empty lots on the shoreline of TMP
But there is also potential for subdivision of existing lots

Grandfathering clauses for septic systems will become obsolete for any  new development or remodeling.  So, while we anticipate more development, it will likely be more regulated
We predict more Roads will be developed with residential development
All ultimately contributing to phosphorus runoff and algae blooms
