since 1978 at a cost of approximately $1500/yr. Brown Trout survive well in Threemile, though they cannot
spawn, and they are an important fishery for anglers who come to the lake. |

| �The MDMR has been stocking TMP with several thousand Alewives ANNUALLY
since 2001. Alewives are an
important source of food for carnivorous fish, and they are also an important
bait fishery for Maine�s lobster industry. |
