	•With a sense of the past and present characteristics of threemile pond, We studied the natural and human activities affecting the lake in order to assess its overall health.

	•We performed physical, chemical, and biological tests on the lake and on incoming and outgoing tributaries.

	•We also assessed land use by mapping the history of various land use types throughout the watershed, and surveying houses and roads.

	•From these measurements and from historical data, we were able to evaluate the current lake health, make predictions on future trends, and recommend remediation techniques.
