True color: measures the amount of dissolved organic matter and suspended particulate matter in the water column.  As the concentration of dissolved organics such as tanins and lignins increase, light absorption of ultraviolet and violet wavelengths increases
	-TMP mean lower than maine avg,and lower than other china region lakes -considered uncolored
	-color readings correspond  to transparency readings -could be due to an increase in development in watershed which would decrease the amount of tanins and lignins from forest floors
	Conductivity: measures ability of a body of water to carry an electrical current
	-strength of current depends on the concentration and extent of dissociation of dissolved ions in the water column
	-closely linked to color and transparency
	-conductivity values slightly higher than normal, but are still comparable to other Maine lakes
	Physical measurements show that TMP is comparable to other area lakes - DO and transparency readings indicate a delining lake health
