The Long Pond North watershed is extensive in that it covers more than 6600 acres and encompasses a variety of habitats. Included within the watershed are wetlands, coniferous and deciduous forests, small
	ponds, and riparian habitat. Because human activity within the watershed affects Long Pond�s water quality, it is important to understand the ecological implications of our actions.
