Water quality tests were used to assess the current state of the lake
Also incoporated into models for predictions
Sample sites were located in 4 different parts of the lake
Varrying depth
Allowed for comparison between sites and for different factors like depth

Site 1 is a site that DEP has monitored for some time.
It is assumed to be the deepest hole in the North Basin and is about 20 m deep.
Site 2, 3 and 4 were chosen primarily for their location.  They are in areas of the lake that are independent from one another.
Sites 2 and 3 are similar in depth as they are a little under 10 m
Site 4 is the most shallow at 4 m.  At site 4 there were many times through the summer when
secchi readings could not be taken.
