Land Use (L) and
Lake Concentration (P)
Phosphorus Loading
L = W / As

P = L / (11.6 + 1.2qs)
The amount of phosphorus entering LPN W term was further manipulated to assign loading due to land-use effects independently from other sources.
L is annual phosphorus areal loading in kg/m2/yr.  This value comes from dividing the best estimate phosphorus loading Ws by the lake surface area (A sub s).
P is the predicted phosphorus concentration in LPN.  The areal loading is divided by the term 11.6 +1.2qs, which corresponds to the settling velocity of phosphorus and areal water loading in the lake.
