This is a map of the properties found in the watershed. It is hard to predict exactly where development is going to occur, so I will discuss some examples that show characteristics which could either promote or hinder development.

On this map, green areas are land only, yellow areas are commercial properties, and orange and blue areas are private properties. Roads are white.

Click 1: Road access and large lot size. Likely to be developed
Click 2: Large enough lots to develop, but there is no road access. Not likely to be developed soon because a road would need to be built first.
Click 3: These lots cannot be developed because they are protected land
Click 4: These lots cannot be developed as they currently exist because they do not meet the 2 acre minimum lot size requirement. Before they can be developed they would have to be combined in order to make the 2 acre minimum.
Click 5: This is large enough to be developed, it has road access, and it is fairly close to the lake. For these three reasons, this lot is likely to be developed in the next 25 years.

Although some development could happen near Pattee Pond, there are only a few lots available for development. This is good for water quality because shoreline homes have a greater impact on water quality because nutrients in the runoff from houses is not adequately filtered before reaching the water.
