Although population size
is predicted to remain stable, residential development could still happened
because of the decreasing mean household size. If development in the
watershed continues it will most likely occur first along major roads and on
lots near Pattee Pond. However,
like I have said, the new zoning code and conservation district, if
approved, would act as a deterrent for development in the watershed due to
the restrictions in lot size and allowed percentages of impervious surfaces.
