On May 26, 2006, a groundbreaking ceremony was held for Colby's new Pulver Pavilion, a 7,000-square-foot addition that will bridge the space between Cotter Union's two wings. See Campus Improvements for more about the Pulver Pavilion. Speakers included chair of the Board of Trustees Joseph F. Boulos '68, President William D. Adams, David Pulver '63, Student Government Association president Thomas Testo '07, and Vice President of Student Affairs and Dean of Students Janice Kassman.
