Dinner and Reception with Eric Rosengren '79

The Harvard Club

The Harvard Club in New York City was the site of an October 2 dinner and reception with President William D. Adams and Eric S. Rosengren '79, president and CEO of Federal Reserve Bank of Boston. Faculty guests were Michael R. Donihue, associate vice president for academic affairs, associate dean of faculty, and professor of economics, and James W. Meehan Jr., the Herbert E. Wadsworth Professor of Economics. Eric Rosengren gave a presentation on the topic of Financial Turmoil: Implications for Enhancing Financial Market Resilience. Mitchell Family Professor of Economics Tom Tietenberg retired in 2008, but the textbook he wrote, Environmental and Natural Resource Economics, remains a standard in environmental economics classes at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
