The Washington, D.C., regional celebration reception for Reaching the World: A Campaign for Colby was held on March 16, 2006, at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. A reception and tour of the third floor galleries were followed by a program that included remarks by President William Adams and representatives of the College, and the regional premier of a short film, Reaching the World: A Year at Colby. The National Museum of Women in the Arts is located at 1250 New York Avenue, NW, Washington, D.C.
