Evidence of the ways that the Reaching the World campaign will strengthen Colby is prominent already. The spectacular Mayflower Hill campus, long heralded as one of the nation's most beautiful college campuses, is in the midst of its most ambitious expansion since the move from downtown Waterville more than a half century ago. The Colby Green is a visionary concept for anchoring four buildings around a village green that is balanced opposite the stately academic quadrangle. The Colby Green and new buildings are emblematic of a range of efforts to build a great college, and initiatives include enhanced academic programs, broadened financial aid capacity, increased faculty support, and enrichments in student life.
